University of Colorado - Denver

The University of Colorado - Denver Business School offers a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) and three Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs. The MBA programs are offered in accelerated, professional and executive formats. The school operates three centers: the Bard Center for Entrepreneurship, Center for Information Technology Innovation and the Institute for International Business.
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program consists of general education courses, core business classes and coursework in a business specialization. Core business courses cover operations management, finance, problem solving and statistics. Students select one of 12 different specializations, including accounting, finance, human resources, management and risk management.
The Professional Master of Business Administration consists of core business classes and coursework in a specialization. Available specializations include international business, finance management and international business. It requires a minimum of 16 months of study, but students are given as long as five years to complete program requirements. Students may attend part-time or entirely online.
The Accelerated Master of Business Administration is an 11-month program that can only be attended full-time. Students complete general business courses in ethics, business law, leadership, economics, data management and business planning. The program also includes a two-week trip abroad.
The Executive Master of Business Administration is geared towards experienced business executives and managers. This program consists of two years of part-time study. The first year of study focuses on general business practices in management, finances and distribution methods. The second year consists of studies in international markets, ethics, business strategy and innovation.
