According to the U. S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), as of March 2018, Colorado Springs - once called the City of Millionaires - boasted an unemployment rate of just 3.4 percent. In May 2016, the BLS reported that the average hourly wage was $23.78, very similar to the national average of $23.86. Taking these figures into consideration, Colorado Springs offers many opportunities and adequate pay for job seekers.
