Formerly Augusta State University, Georgia Regents University is located in the second largest city in Georgia and is a 4-year public university with a student population of about 8,500. Founded in 1783 as a college for boys, the university merged with Georgia Health Science University in 2013 and adopted its current moniker. The university offers undergraduate degrees in science, the arts, education and business administration.
Augusta State University's James M. Hull College of Business offers five Bachelor of Business Administration degree programs in the disciplines of accounting, management, marketing, management information systems and finance. The Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance program focuses on business skills and financial practices. Typical finance classes may include corporate finance, international finance, investment/portfolio management and financial markets. Other relevant courses include business math, accounting and economics.
