Graduate Schools

When looking for graduate-level business programs that do not require GMAT scores, it's important for students to consider the alternative requirements that they may have for admission, as well as course formats and program requirements. While the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is usually required for most business degree programs at the master's degree level, there are many programs that do not require students to submit GMAT scores.

Programs that do not have GMAT requirements are generally designed for working professionals who are looking to advance into managerial positions. Most graduate schools that do not require students to submit GMAT scores require students to meet other requirements. The eligibility requirements vary by school, but they often include previous work experience in addition to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Some possible requirements may include:

  • A minimum GPA of 3.0
  • 5-12 years of executive or management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a particular topic (such as science, technology, engineering, or economics) in addition to 3 years of work experience
  • Previous graduate or professional degree
