Huntington Park is located in the Los Angeles metropolitan area, in southern Los Angeles County. Downtown Los Angeles itself lies less than 10 miles to the northwest. This family-friendly, blue-collar suburb had a population of 59,362 in 2014, according to U.S. census estimates. The city is almost completely Hispanic, with 97% of the population claiming Latin or Hispanic ancestry, as of the 2010 census.
