California State University - Fullerton is one of the largest campuses in the California State University system, enrolling more than 38,000 students. The university's eight colleges offer 107 undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The Mihaylo College of Business and Economics has two programs in international business: A Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Business and an MBA in International Business.
The B.A. in International Business program consists of 78 credit hours of general and international business classes. General business classes cover accounting, organizational behavior and business information systems, as well as international economics, multinational marketing and international business finance. Courses required for the international business major include comparative economic systems, export marketing strategies and import financing. Students must display a proficiency in a foreign language and select a concentration in Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, French or German.
The 16-month MBA in International Business program includes core business classes in managerial and financial accounting, business law, decision models and operations management. Classes in the concentration include multinational marketing, international economics, comparative management and international accounting. Students also participate in seminars sponsored by the Mihaylo Leadership Academy and complete a capstone seminar course prior to graduation.
