Student Earns Three College Credits and Saves $700 Over Winter Break

How Alex Prepared for the CLEP

Alex Stenner

Alex Stenner is a college sophomore in his third semester. As a human biology major, psychology was a required general education course. He had no background in psychology and hadn't taken any courses in psychology in high school or college. Alex wanted to find an easier way to earn this required credit than sitting in a classroom for 15 weeks. Besides the time commitment, he was concerned about the $700-$800 he would have to spend to take a class. So, he began looking into the CLEP test. That's when he came across

Alex spent only two weeks studying. He liked how he could go at his own pace and get all his studying in over the winter break. Just two days after school let out for break, he began his studies. There were a little over 100 videos that he needed to watch, so he broke them down over 14 days. He knew he had to watch so many videos per day to stay on track. He said some days he watched a few more than needed so he could get ahead and be able to have some lighter days where he didn't have to watch as many.

In addition to the videos, he took all the quizzes and tests available on the site to ensure he was learning what he needed. He was super focused and dedicated to reaching his daily goals, which made meeting his ultimate goal - passing the psychology CLEP test - simple.

Alex's Plan for the Future

Since he found studying for and passing the psychology CLEP test to be a simple way for him to save time and money, Alex has started looking towards the future. He says he plans to take more CLEP tests to save even more time and money. Specifically, he's looking into history and says he will definitely use videos to study.

Alex pretty much ended up $1700 richer through using our videos to pass the psychology CLEP. Do you think you could be the next one to save money and win our $1000 CLEP Award?
