The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) forecast that employment for financial analysts would increase by 6% from 2018-2028. The bureau also noted that the median salary for financial analysts was $85,660 in 2018.

Human Resources Manager

Human resources managers supervise a company's personnel operations, overseeing hiring, dismissals and benefits, among other duties. They work with other company leaders to organize strategies for the best utilization of the workforce, and they must be well versed in employment law. Most hold a degree with a focus in human resources management. The BLS predicted employment of human resources managers would increase by 6% from 2018-2028. The median salary for this job was $113,300 in 2018, according to the BLS.


Accountants are in charge of a firm or individual's financial records, including the payment of taxes. There are several types of accountants, include certified public accountants, who have completed additional training beyond a bachelor's degree and passed a comprehensive examination. According to the BLS, employment of accountants and auditors was expected to grow by 6% from 2018-2028. The BLS said the median salary for accountants and auditors was $$70,500 in May 2018.

A business administration degree will prepare individuals to enter the job market as financial analysts, human resource managers or accountants. The job prospects for those with a business administration degree are expected to be average from 2018-2028; per the BLS, job growth in these fields should increase by 6-7%.
