The course's 12 lectures cover such topics as missing data, interim monitoring, non-inferiority specification of Delta, bridging studies and study designs. All lectures can be downloaded from the course website. Readings are also recommended.

Methods in Biostatistics I at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health

This course covers such subjects as statistical inference, applied probability, inference, proportions and other topics related to the field of biostatistics. The course is made up of 14 lectures, each of which can be downloaded from the class site. Lecture notes are supplemented with readings from six textbooks used in the original course. Methods in Biostatistics II at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health

Made up of 14 lectures, this second biostatics course in methods covers additional topics, such as expectation and variance, the central limit theorem, maximum likelihood estimation and continuous probability models. Assigned readings come from one textbook, and lecture notes are available on the course site. Like the previous course in biostatistics methods, OCW learners can utilize some of the resources that are provided on the course site.

Patients and Populations: Medical Decision-Making at University of Michigan

Based around case studies and diagnostic tests, this course provides a better understanding of information gathering and epidemiology. Students in this course will receive training in biostatistics and research design and will be expected to apply data to answer diagnostic questions. The course offers downloadable materials like lectures and handouts.
