Everglades University, in Boca Raton, Florida, offers a Bachelor of Science in Alternative Medicine and a master's degree in Public Health Administration with a concentration in Complementary and Alternative Medicine, both available in online and on-campus formats. In the bachelor's degree program, students take general education courses along with a wide variety of alternative medicine-related courses, ranging from nutrition to health psychology to clinical decision-making. In the master's degree program, students take traditional public health courses in topics like public policy and epidemiology, as well as four courses focused specifically on alternative medicine. The program, which usually takes 12 months to complete, culminates in a final capstone course.
