Graduates of an MBA in entrepreneurship program have multiple career options across industries, including chief executive officer (CEO), financial manager and small business owner. As of October 2016, CEOs earned an annual salary between $75,525 and $437,467, while financial managers made between $37,400 and $117,504, as reported by PayScale.com. The same source indicated that small business owners earned an annual salary between $29,065 and $177,251.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, there is a 1% decrease in job growth expected from 2014-2024 for CEO positions (www.bls.gov). Financial management jobs, however, are projected to grow by 7% during the same period.

There are many online programs available to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial studies. Many of these programs are offered by for-profit institutions and include studies of business subjects such as planning, management, leadership and innovation.
