First opening its doors in 1946 as the Charlotte Center, this college officially became the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Charlotte in 1965. The 4-year public university is home to nearly 30,000 students annually. UNC Charlotte's Belk College of Business includes the Department of Business Information Systems and Operation Management, which offers two bachelor's degree programs in business administration.
The first two years of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Operations and Supply Chain Management program focus on pre-business coursework. In the final years of the program, operations and supply chain management students take courses in financial management, marketing, information systems management, organization and business policy.
