Microsoft offers SQL certification exams at three levels. Designations include the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) and Microsoft Certified Master (MCM). MCM requires passage of the MCITP, which requires passage of the MCTS.
