St. Ann, Missouri, has 12,955 residents, according to 2014 U.S. Census estimates. The city is situated in the northwest section of St. Louis County, about 16 miles from the city of St. Louis. About 70% of the population was white, as of the 2010 census.

St. Ann has two school districts, a community center and a golf course. Numerous parks are found throughout the city, offering nearly 100 total acres of space. St. Ann is a part of the metropolitan area of St. Louis, and residents are within easy access of such attractions as the Gateway Arch, Forest Park and the St. Louis Science Center.

Educational Opportunities

St. Ann has one proprietary institution in the city limits: American Trade School. It offers HVAC and electrical and electronics repair certificate programs to just over 100 students. Within 20 miles of the city, residents can find around 60 additional postsecondary institutions.

The University of Missouri-St. Louis is just a few miles away. A public university, it has bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs and serves around 17,000 students. Washington University in St. Louis is a private school that has undergraduate and graduate programs for almost 14,400 students.
