Southern Nazarene University (SNU) is a private not-for-profit Christian university that offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in over 80 areas of study. The School of Business has undergraduate and graduate degree programs in areas like aviation, business administration, business management, marketing and accounting.

The curriculum of the Bachelor of Science in Accounting program is comprised of 39 credits of core business courses, 66 credits of accounting and management courses and 12 credits of accounting electives. Accounting courses cover subjects like intermediate accounting, cost accounting, cost analysis, individual income tax, auditing, advanced accounting and management information systems. This program offers a CPA Track as well. Students complete the same courses as in the general bachelor's degree program, but with the addition of CPA-specific courses in income tax for business and fiduciary entities, consolidated statements and not-for-profit accounting.

At the graduate level, the university's MBA program offers courses in accounting management and accounting and finance as well as financial management and strategic management. Completion of the MBA program also satisfies requirements needed to sit for the Uniform CPA Exam.
