Northeastern University has nearly 10 colleges and schools that offer about 100 undergraduate majors and more than 150 graduate programs. Northeastern has a retention rate for first-time undergraduates of close to 100%. This institution has a wide range of opportunities for international learning, having programs in close to 100 different countries. The School of Business offers a Bachelor of Science in International Business and a Master of Science in International Business.
The BS program has an international business core that includes courses on global strategy and how to be a global manager. Students also must fulfill a 6-credit language requirement as well as spending a year studying abroad. This program also calls for students to pick up a concentration from a selection including management information systems and finance. Students can choose from 10 different countries to study in, with some being China, Mexico, Spain and Brazil. The MS in international business covers topics such as international marketing, global economics and finance. The MS also includes an international field study requirement in which students have a 10-day overseas visit.
