Located about 20 miles away from Dallas, in the large neighboring city of Arlington, the University of Texas at Arlington is a 4-year public liberal arts institution. It offers almost 190 degree programs at the bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels to just over 33,000 students annually. Twelve different schools, colleges and divisions house the academic degree programs at the university. The international business and global management program can be found within the College of Business.
The Bachelor of Business Administration - International Business program is offered in four different language tracks: French, Spanish, German and Russian. Students enrolled in any of these tracks are required to complete 128 credit hours, at least 26 of which must be completed in a foreign language. Core coursework covers international business law, corporate finance, comparative economics, marketing and management. In addition to studying a foreign language, students enrolled in the international business program are strongly encouraged to participate in a study abroad program. International business is also a study option available in the university's MBA Flexible program. MBA students will have the opportunity to learn about international finance, business operations, tax, trade and markets.
