University of Connecticut
U.S. News & World Report ranked the University of Connecticut in Storrs 20th on its list of top public schools for 2017. Additionally, the university's College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources is home to a kinesiology doctoral program that received a top ten ranking from the National Academy of Kinesiology in 2015.
Among other program available through this college are exercise science bachelor's and master's degrees focused on preparing students to look at sport and exercise in physiological terms. University of Maryland

It also offers a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology that can be earned along with a Master of Science in Clinical Exercise Physiology in just five years.
