Many top U.S. schools offer master's programs and post-master's certificate programs in pediatric nursing practice. Graduates of these programs may become licensed nurse practitioners who provide primary care to children. Three of the best schools for aspiring pediatric nurses include Yale University and Columbia University, both of which are Ivy League schools, and the University of California - San Francisco (UCSF), a well-regarded public institution. Each of these schools was nationally ranked by U.S. News & World Report for 2017.
