- Winner: San Jose State University is the largest postsecondary institution by enrollment and one of the few 4-year public schools in the state that awards degrees in global business management. Students can select the international business concentration in the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program or the global business development concentration in either the Master of Business Administration (MBA) or MBA for Professionals program.

San Jose State University (SJSU) enrolls more than 31,000 students in 69 bachelor's and 65 master's degree programs. The university is composed of four campuses in San Jose and includes the College of Business. Graduate programs are offered through the Donald and Sally Lucas Graduate School. The School of Global Innovation and Leadership offers the international business concentration.
Students in the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in International Business program must complete one of two study abroad options and 12 credit hours in international business courses. Required core courses cover accounting, law as related to business, marketing, operations management and strategic management. International business courses include international and comparative management, marketing in developing countries, international marketing and international business finance.
Students in the early career MBA program at SJSU can focus on a particular area of study by choosing a set of specific electives. Electives can be chosen in global business development and could include classes like marketing to Eastern and Western Europe, management in a global economy, third world marketing, management across cultures and international finance. The MBA for Professionals (formerly the Executive-Style MBA) follows the same curriculum as the traditional MBA, but is tailored more for working individuals. It can be completed in 28 months and also has electives in global business development.
