California State University - Fresno, or Fresno State, consists of eight schools and colleges enrolling more than 22,000 undergraduate and graduate students. The Department of Computer Science, through the College of Science and Mathematics, houses the Bachelor of Science and Master of Science programs in computer science. The bachelor's degree in computer engineering is available through the Lyles College of Engineering, which is the oldest public engineering college in the San Joaquin Valley.
The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program at Fresno State trains students in all aspects of computing and computer systems. Students can pursue advanced focuses in several areas, including software engineering, computer architecture, operating systems, computer graphics and networking. Core courses include data structures, programming languages and computer organization.
The Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering program incldues a comprehensive education in programming, design, computer science, math and electrical engineering.
