California State University - Fresno, or Fresno State, consists of eight schools and colleges enrolling more than 23,000 undergraduate and graduate students. The Department of Computer Science, through the College of Science and Mathematics, houses the Bachelor of Science and Master of Science programs in computer science. The bachelor's degree in computer engineering is available through the Lyles College of Engineering, which is the oldest public engineering college in the San Joaquin Valley.

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program at Fresno State trains students in all aspects of computing and computer systems.
