The main campus of Midlands Technical College is located in West Columbia, a small city in the Columbia, S.C., metropolitan area. As of Fall 2013, nearly 12,000 students attended MTC, which offers dozens of diploma, certificate and associate's degree programs, including a certificate in web design and maintenance.
This 33-credit-hour program features courses in Internet communications and programming, advanced web page publishing, advanced multimedia for web pages and advanced tools for website design. Students also complete classes in microcomputer databases and information sciences and learn about micro multimedia concepts and applications.
