Florida Southern College offers many diverse programs, and it guarantees free or almost-free travel experiences for students during their third and fourth years. As of 2011, it has a student population of 2,442. Each spring, graduating seniors get to compete to show who has the best graphic designs.

The school offers a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design - which covers two tracks: web design and print design. Students must complete 56 credit hours, which cover fundamental design, design, web design, painting and sculpture. A Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design is also offered. Courses focus on theory and practice. Two tracks of web and print design are followed. Students are prepared for a career in commercial design and advertising. 72 credit hours must be completed.
