St. Edward's University offers more than 90 undergraduate and graduate degree programs to nearly 5,000 students each year. The university consists of six schools, including the Bill Munday School of Business. The school offers business programs at the bachelor's and master's degree levels, with focuses on international business.
The international business major within this Bachelor of Business Administration program requires the completion of a standard business core, which consists of 36 credit hours of study in areas like economics, business statistics, accounting, management, marketing and finance. Courses for the major may include international business practices, trade, marketing and finance, along with elective courses in regional economics and international relations. Students must also complete an internship and take at least 12 credit hours in Spanish, German, Japanese or French to fulfill the language requisite.
In the global business concentration of the Master of Business Administration program, students will select from among courses in global finance, project management, business management, organizational management, human resource management and marketing. Core courses address accounting, marketing, business law, ethics and organizational behavior. Students take a global business capstone course in which they complete a consulting project with an international company.
