The 96-credit Associate of Applied Science in Information Technology - Web Design program focuses on Web production, writing, animation and authoring. Students learn the essentials of computer programming and develop advanced skills in typography and database development. They develop techniques for creating positive user experiences and become proficient with design software programs, such as Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Illustrator. Students seeking the Web design certificate must complete 66 credits and take several of the same courses as in the 2-year degree program, such as those in Web authoring, programming and database development.
