Students receive hands-on training in multimedia and instructional systems design and take courses in research and theory. Harvard University in Cambridge, MA

School Highlight: The school offers a Technology, Innovation and Education program.

Harvard's graduate-level education program was tied for #2 on the U.S. News & World Report list in 2016. The Technology, Innovation and Education program focuses on building creative design, leadership and research skills. In addition, students complete up to two internships in the field; opportunities are available at Walden Media, the Boston Museum of Science and the MIT Media Lab, among others.
