Boston University in Boston, MA

Faculty members at Boston University include Pulitzer Prize winners. Located in Massachusetts, Boston University is a private, not-for-profit university that ranked 39th on U.S. News & World Report's list of best national universities in 2017. The university's photojournalism program is offered as a graduate area of study. Students explore the basics of online, print and broadcast media, as well as the creation of news stories using photos. Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY

At the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), internships are available with well-respected magazines and newsrooms. Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, MI

Located in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, the photojournalism program at Central Michigan University is one of only two accredited programs in the state. The Department of Journalism offers Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science programs in photojournalism.
