Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN

Vanderbilt University was ranked fifth best graduate educational program, and the education administration and supervision program was named the best by U.S. News & World Report in 2016. The Peabody College of Education and Human Development at Vanderbilt offers a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership and Policy with concentrations in K-12, higher education, and international education policy. The Teacher's College at Columbia University is the oldest and largest of its kind in the nation. Boston College's Lynch School of Education offers a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership that focuses on leadership in several areas, including school reform and community building. The program follows a cohort model and is designed for full-time school administrators. This program is a member of the Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate.
