Phoenix Schools with e-Commerce Programs
E-commerce programs prepare students for web-based business careers. While there are not any schools in Phoenix currently offering programs in e-commerce, there are several schools offering programs in related areas that include courses in this field. These programs include bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration, as well as associate's degree programs in web development and web design technologies.
The Mesa campus of Albright College offers an accelerated Bachelor of Business Administration program that prepares students for careers in e-commerce, among other areas. Core courses include topics in finance, statistics, business management and marketing, while the e-commerce topics are covered in management of information systems. The Mesa campus is located about 20 minutes from downtown Phoenix. The main campus of this school is located in Reading, PA, and it was on U.S. News & World Report's 2015 list of top national liberal arts colleges.
Ottawa University is a private not-for-profit school with a campus in Phoenix. In 2015, U.S. News & World Report ranked this school 59th among regional colleges in the Midwest. Its Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is available with many concentrations, including a marketing option that includes courses in e-commerce and Internet marketing. The program can be completed during evenings or online; the e-commerce course is available entirely online. Students in the e-commerce course can study e-business models, Internet trends, e-marketing and the consumer exchange process.
Scottsdale Community College
Scottsdale Community College is one of ten colleges in the Maricopa Community College District. Located about 15 miles outside of Phoenix, it offers 2-year degrees and certificate programs in web development and web design technologies through its informational technology division. These programs include courses in e-commerce, Internet server administration, web scripting and programming. The e-commerce course includes topics in creating an online store, marketing techniques, legal issues and current issues in e-commerce.
