Founded in 1891, Drexel University is a private, not-for-profit institution. The research university serves more than 26,000 students per year and offers more than 200 degree programs at the bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels. Nine academic colleges and four schools make up Drexel. The Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design offers over 20 undergraduate and graduate degree programs that are intended to prepare students for careers in fields such as animation, graphic design and digital media.
