Each program will then have its own prerequisite coursework requirements, and you may need to have already taken classes in anatomy, algebra, chemistry, history, English, and other subjects. Some programs will also require that you take the Test of Essential Academic Skills and have completed CPR training or certified nursing assistant training. Other application materials will include an application and transcripts.

Accelerated BSN programs are designed for those who want to start a nursing career and have already earned a bachelor's degree in another field of study. These programs can take anywhere from 12-16 months to complete and will include coursework and clinical lab requirements.
