American Baptist College

American Baptist College is a small undergraduate institution with about 150 students, per the NCES. The school offers associate's degrees in general studies and sacred music, as well as bachelor's degrees in theology and the Bible, entrepreneurial leadership and behavior studies. There's also a Bachelor of Theology program for students who've previously earned undergraduate degrees. To help students further develop their spiritual lives, the school requires students to attend at least 8 chapel services per semester. Students may also choose to participate in a variety of campus clubs and organizations to develop leadership and teamwork skills and/or advocate for social justice. The school also has various events throughout the year, such as Honors Day, Founders' Day and The Garnett-Nabrit Lecture Series.

Baptist Memorial College of Health Sciences

Baptist Memorial College of Health Sciences is a unique undergraduate institution that offers study in biomedical sciences and the field of healthcare, including diagnostic medical sonography, nursing, medical radiologic technology and healthcare administration. These programs are typically available at the bachelor's degree level, but the school also offers associate's degrees in health/medical preparatory programs. The school intertwines faith with caring for others through healthcare; professors may begin class with prayer and students often pray for each other. Students can also participate in Chapel services, worship, missions projects and the campus ministry, Brothers and Sisters in Christ (B.A.S.I.C.), where they can attend Bible studies, spiritual retreats, concerts and other spiritual opportunities. According to the NCES, Baptist Memorial College has around 1,050 students.

Carson-Newman University

Carson-Newman University was ranked #1 in the South by U.S. News and World Report for undergraduate teaching in 2016. The school has a little over 1,800 undergraduate students (per the NCES) and the student population represents 34 different nations. The school offers more than 70 student organizations for students to get involved in, including campus ministries like Baptist Collegiate Ministries (BCM), Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and Community Life and Worship (CLW). Students at the school can pursue associate's, bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees, as well as post-master's certificates. Most graduate programs are in business, education, healthcare, psychology and theology, but undergraduate programs also include the arts, Biblical studies, kinesiology and exercise science, math, family and consumer science, creative writing and biology, among several others.

Union University

Union University offers over 100 programs of study, including fields like molecular biology, special education, engineering, athletic training, Christian studies, social work, missionary studies and economics. Students can enroll in associate's, bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs, as well as undergraduate and graduate certificate programs. The NCES states that the school has around 2,280 undergraduate students and the school's website says they have a student-to-faculty ratio of 10 to 1. The school offers chapel services and a number of ministries for students to grow spiritually, including Life Groups, Men's and Women's Cooperatives and local, national and international outreach groups.
