Auditor

As an auditor, you will be retained by companies and travel to their offices to evaluate their financial statements and business processes. You will examine internal documents to determine if there is any fraud or abuse of corporate funds. Based on these findings, you will provide guidance to companies on how to deter fraud and misuse of funds. To become an auditor, you will typically need a bachelor's degree, though having graduate qualifications and certification can be additional assets.

Management Analyst

You will enjoy a career as a management analyst if you enjoy traveling to clients' offices and working with them on improving their business processes. As a management analyst, you will collaborate with a company's management team on how to achieve financial success by cutting internal costs, yet also increasing overall earnings. You will examine financial records, observe personnel at work and meet with them to discuss the business, and make recommendations based on your findings. You will generally need a bachelor's degree; however, a master's degree in business administration is required for some positions.

Public Relations Manager

A public relations manager combines a love of travel with working directly with clients on their brand and image. As a public relations manager, you will often travel to meet with clients. You will assist clients with a variety of projects, which may include writing press releases, developing a procedure for media inquiries, and creating advertising or promotional campaigns. A public relations manager will typically need a bachelor's degree and can choose to pursue further studies to increase work opportunities or get a certification from organizations such as the Public Relations Society of America.

Budget Analyst

As a budget analyst, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of industries, including public and private companies, higher education sector, and even government agencies. You will guide companies and institutions with their finances by collaborating with the management to establish a budget, track costs throughout the fiscal year to ensure spending is on target, and make projections on the company's upcoming financial needs. You will have the opportunity for travel whenever on-site visits are needed to obtain budget details or to confirm how resources are being spent. You will need a bachelor's degree for this career; however, many in the field also complete a master's degree.

Purchasing Agent

As a purchasing agent, you will serve as the liaison between your company and vendors. A purchasing agent's main responsibility is to conduct the process of securing vendors for the company by researching vendors, establishing agreements, and submitting orders for the purchase of products. This is a good career choice for someone who likes international travel, because purchasing agents may travel to potential or existing vendors' sites. You will need at least a high school degree; however, most positions will require a bachelor's degree, and some employers also prefer those with certification.
