Yes, to be eligible for employment at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) you must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree. A candidate can have a degree in any field of their choosing provide it is at the bachelor's level. However, the Bureau further requires candidates to pass a physical fitness test, have 2 years of professional work and, be between the ages of 23 and 36. Trainees must have exceptional marksmanship skills with a firearm, possess a U.S. driver's license and have the integrity to possess a top-secret security clearance. Your life must be able to withstand an intense level of scrutiny in an in-depth background check. Having degrees in forensic science and cyber security would make those aspects of training easier, but the FBI will train you in other fields at the academy. Which could put you in a path to a career as a forensic investigator, analyst, or even a teacher for the FBI.
