Answer:

Medical Assistants, who are responsible for the administrative and clinical duties within a healthcare institution, are often found within hospitals, clinics, and other medical facilities. Assisted Living Facilities are classified as Long-term Care Facilities that provide help with the daily care of residents, which operate under a "levels of care" model that is dependant on how much the resident is able to afford, but the services are not as wide-ranging as those provided in nursing homes. Long-Term Care Assisted Living facilities can also provide personal care and medical services, depending on the needs of the residents. Assisted Living is not necessarily representative as a healthcare provider but, since medical services can be provided, there may also be opportunities for medical assistants to perform the required administrative and clinical support. However, compared to other healthcare providers, Assisted Living homes are not the highest employer of medical assistants. In fact, as of 2019, 57 percent of medical assistants work out of physicians' offices. However, the highest annual wage came from outpatient care centre employers who hired medical assistants in May 2019.
