Does Clemson University use the Common Application?
Question:
Does Clemson University use the Common Application?
Perfect School Search
Answer:
Yes; first-year applicants to Clemson University will submit an online application through Clemson Application, Coalition Application, or the Common Application. Clemson University does not have a preference as to which platform the applicant selects. After completion of the online application, the applicant will pay the application fee or submit the application fee waiver. The next step for the applicant is to request for a copy of one's SAT or ACT scores to be sent to Clemson University (scores aren't mandatory for the 2020-2021 school year). The applicant will also need to have an official copy of one's high school transcript sent from one's high school counselor through Parchment, the Common Application, or the Coalition. Transcripts may also be mailed or emailed to Clemson University from the high school counselor.
According to Clemson University's website, the following high school curriculum is recommended:
- 4 Credits English
- 3 Credits Mathematics
- 3 Credits Laboratory Science
- 3 Credits Foreign Language
- 3 Credits Social Science
- 2 Credits Other
- 1 Credit Physical Education/ROTC
- 1 Credit Fine Arts
