Answer:

Harvard Business School (HBS) does not have an executive MBA (Master of Business Administration). Instead, HBS offers an accelerated option designed to be an alternative to an executive MBA called the Program for Leadership Development (PLD). While it does not lead to an MBA, the PLD program was developed for executives, managers, or those in leadership positions within their organization that have 10 to 15 years of experience. It is a personalized program designed to expand one's leadership abilities, enhance personal leadership style, focus on innovation, and develop action plans specific to one's own company or organization and career goals. To apply for admission into this program, both a letter of reference as well as an application detailing work experience, current job responsibilities, goals, and challenges, and information on the organization or company the applicant works for, is required. The application and letter of recommendation will need to be submitted online through the HBS website, and admission decisions will be made after assessing the applicant's career achievements and professional responsibilities.
