Is fast food management a good career?

Perfect School Search

A career in fast food management may be a good option for some individuals, for two main reasons. First, the availability of positions. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the number of positions in this field is expected to grow 11% from 2018 to 2028. Second, the relative ease in attaining the position. In most cases, one only requires a high school diploma, and a few years of experience in the fast-food industry to earn a role in fast food management. However, college training may provide opportunities with higher pay.

The one main downside of earning a role in this industry is the pay. According to the Bureau, the median pay for fast food managers in 2019 was $55,320.

However, if one is interested in working soon after high school, this may be a terrific role.
