A logistician is one career found in supply chain management, an it involves analyzing, coordinating, and organizing the goods. Another career, which can be found at the entry level, is the job of expeditor, which involves overseeing the packaging and delivery of products to the customers for quality service. Telecommunications is the highest-paying industry for supply chain management. Some other industries in which supply chain managers and logisticians find work include warehousing, rail/freight transportation, aerospace products and parts manufacturing, and the local government. With a positive job outlook and the flexibility to change industries of employment, supply chain management is becoming a popular career field.
