As an industrial production manager, you will oversee the daily operations of manufacturing and related plants, including to coordinate, plan, and direct the activities used to create a wide range of goods, such as cars, computer equipment, or paper products. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the median annual wage for purchasing managers was $121,110 in May 2019, and the highest 10 percent earned more than $193,400.
