Answer:

To become a registered nurse, you will have to complete a nursing program in college. There are two types of nursing programs for people that want to become registered nurses. You can complete an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Both of these degrees will enable you to become a registered nurse. If you want to join the workforce in less time, you can choose to complete an ADN, since it only takes two years to complete. However, if you want to reach higher positions and better salaries, you will need to complete a BSN program, which takes two more years than an ADN. As a result, you will have to consider your career goals and interests and choose the program that best fits you. In both programs, you will take classes like anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, chemistry, biology, and nursing care. It is important that you complete a state-approved program since you will need to get a registered nurse license once you complete your education.
