Medical assistants often work with different healthcare professionals and different kinds of patients, therefore, they need to be able to communicate efectively with the people that surrounds them. They also need to know how to talk to patients' families and friends. Of course, since medical assistants have different responsiblities, they are required to know how to multitask. Medical assistants are involved in both clinical and administrative duties, as a result, they need to know how to administer their time. As most healthcare professionals, a good medical assistant is able to work under pressure in different situations.
