The GMAT exam is a standardized exam designed as one of the tools available to assess candidates to graduate business and management programs. The exam is utilized by universities across the US and is a trusted assessment tool. Taking the GMAT exam demonstrates to any graduate program admissions office your motivation and strong interest in earning your graduate business degree. Many schools use the GMAT as a predictor of your ability to succeed as well. The section called Analytical Writing Assessment is made to measure your ability to critically think and to communicate your ideas. This section requires you to analyze the reasoning behind a given statement and to write a critique to support your argument. The section consists of a thirty minute writing task with a maximum score of 6 and a range of 0-6.
