Answer:
Anthropologists are people with a good curiosity for other cultures and the want to learn more about human history. With a degree in anthropology, you will learn about foreign cultures and subcultures. You will research the different dynamics within those cultures too. You will also learn things you might not have expected, like law and education or things about public health.
With your degree in Anthropology, there are a good number of jobs open to you. The first one we will talk about is becoming a diversity officer. In this role, you will promote diversity within different companies and organizations. You will work with companies to look into their practices and come up with ways to make sure their employees are coming from varied backgrounds. According to Glassdoor, chief diversity officers earn an average annual salary of $137,027 per year.
Another job you can pick up with this degree is becoming an attorney that works in international, immigration, and human rights. However, this will require you to couple your degree with another in law. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), attorneys earned a median annual salary of $122,960 in May 2019.
You may also consider a job in education. You can teach anthropology yourself, or teach subjects such as public health, ethnic studies, cultural studies, and more!
