Answer:

The American Public University System (APUS), which includes American Public University (APU) and American Military University (AMU), offers several advantages to students. For example, both APU and AMU are fully online, which means that students can attend class remotely from anywhere in the world. For people who frequently move, such as those in the military, APUS offers an opportunity to earn a degree regardless of where you live and how often you may relocate. For those who work and/or have other responsibilities, APUS' online learning environment makes it easier to fit college into a busy schedule. APUS also is regarded as affordable. Undergraduate courses cost $285 per credit hour and graduate courses cost $370 per credit hour. Students who obtain financial aid, including military tuition grants, pay less. While affordable, APUS also is an accredited school, with accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). The U.S. Department of Education along with the Council for Higher Education Accreditation recognize accreditations from HLC. APUS offers multiple certificates and degrees, including associate, bachelor, and graduate degrees in dozens of disciplines, giving students a variety of learning options.
