Hastings College

At Hastings College, there are more than 40 bachelor's degree programs to choose from, such as art history, philosophy and religion, and wildlife biology. As far as faith, one of the college's core values is spirituality, as it appreciates the Presbyterian faith in the college's history and encourages students to follow God. Hastings holds weekly chapel services and also offers Bible study groups and retreats. Students can participate in faith-based organizations like the chapel band, CRU, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Other student activities include competitive club bowling, an outdoor club, and a sociology club.

University of Dubuque

The University of Dubuque is committed to creating a Christian environment for students of all denominations that encourages stewardship, academic excellence, and spiritual development. The university has chapel service on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings, for roughly twenty minutes. Along with worship services, students have access to Christian Connection groups, which are student groups in the dorms, and counseling through the chaplain's office. Dubuque has 14 academic departments, including business and accounting, education, and Christian studies. Students can pursue master's degrees in areas like business administration, communication, and Christian leadership.

Presbyterian College

Presbyterian College's mission is to help students develop intellectually and spiritually within the context of the Presbyterian faith. The college also has the tradition of an honor code that includes respect, integrity, and civic responsibility. Religious student organizations include the Catholic Student Association, Religious Life Council, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Bluefish Student Ministry allows interested students to serve as on-campus ministers via discussion groups and peer mentoring. Undergraduate degrees are available in fields like education, international studies, and religion and philosophy. The college has graduate degrees in pharmacy and physician assistant studies.

Hampden-Sydney College

Hampden-Sydney College in an all-male institution that awards bachelor's degrees in majors such as computer science, visual arts, and religion. The college's purpose is to instill strong character in students that is based on Judeo-Christian tenets. Hampden-Sydney requires that students follow a code of conduct that calls for respect for all and an honor code. The college holds adult Sunday school classes on Sunday mornings followed by a worship service. Students can strengthen their faith via groups like Baptist Collegiate Ministries, Young Life, and Presbyterian Students. Hampden-Sydney offers many service opportunities, including the Animal Rescue Community and Habitat for Humanity.

Westminster College

Westminster College's mission is to develop students who are committed to God and display analytical thinking, a love of learning, and stewardship. Westminster holds an optional worship service on Monday mornings. There are other times during the week for prayer and meditation as well. Social opportunities include organizations like the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Catholic Newman Club, and handbell choir. Additional student activities range from a health and fitness club to film club. Academic programs at Westminster include digital journalism, human resources management, and religion.
