Video editors use editing software made especially for videos to splice together images from footage in a pleasing way, usually according to client or employer specifications. If they are working on a movie, they work with the director to ensure the images and scenes they string together impart the vision of the film. This can be a fun job for someone who enjoys taking something that has been filmed and putting it together in a way that is creative. Many video editors are self-employed, making this an option for a stay-at-home mom. Video editors usually need a bachelor's in this field.
