Piedmont International University
North Carolina's Piedmont International University had close to 340 undergraduate students in 2017, per the NCES. The university offers several different education and faith-based undergraduate programs, including majors in church music, sign language interpreting, Biblical studies and early childhood education, as well as a few graduate programs in areas like ministry, leadership and business administration. Students can invest in their spiritual life through chapel services, devotions, spiritual concerts and conferences, service opportunities, and special events, like Spiritual Week. Other activities and organizations on campus include athletics, University Societies, Student Council, FANAL Yearbook and Friday Night Events.
Arkansas Baptist College
Arkansas Baptist College is an undergraduate, Historically Black College that has several different degree programs, including in areas like sports management, entrepreneurship, public administration, criminal justice, urban community leadership and Christian education. Students at the college must attend at least 9 of the 12 offered chapel services each semester to further develop their faith and may choose to participate in spiritual retreats and conferences, small groups or religious workshops. Students may also pursue their personal interests in student groups/activities such as Greek life, Dance Team, Choir, Pep Squad and Student Government Association. The college had around 590 students in 2017, according to the NCES.
Baptist University of the Americas
Texas is home to the Baptist University of Americas that is an undergraduate institution with about 180 students, as of 2017 (per the NCES). Spiritual activities on campus include chapel services, national and international missions opportunities and various ministries on campus, like Baptist Student Ministry and PASIÓN: BUA Worship Band. There are plenty of opportunities for fellowship on campus through activities such as group dinners, intramural sports and an annual soccer tournament. The university offers bachelor's degree programs in human behavior, music, Biblical/theological studies or business leadership.
Selma University in Alabama is another Historically Black University and offers undergraduate programs in areas like biology, physical education, business administration and Bible, theology and Christian education, as well as graduate programs in Bible and pastoral ministry or Bible and Christian education. Students are required to attend weekly chapel services to devote time to their spiritual lives. According to the NCES, the institution had about 310 undergraduate students in 2017.
Virginia University of Lynchburg
The Virginia University of Lynchburg had close to 270 undergraduate students in 2017, as reported by the NCES. The school is a Historically Black university that helps first-year students grow spiritually through a college orientation course that requires chapel attendance. Other activities on campus may include, but are not limited to, intramural sports, Student Government Association, movie nights and game nights.
