Liberty University

Liberty University offers a Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling appropriate for individuals not interested in becoming licensed counselors. The program has 10 specializations, such as life coaching, marriage/family, and addictions/recovery. Students have the choice of either traditional or online classes to complete their 30 credits. University of Illinois at Springfield

Students can earn their Master of Human Services at the University of Illinois at Springfield in one of four concentrations: alcoholism and substance abuse, child and family studies, gerontology, and social services administration. The university requires that students must achieve at least a B in all 44 credit hours. Students will complete a four-credit internship in an appropriate human service setting.
