Southeastern Oklahoma State University

This school has an online MBA with an emphasis in accounting. The program can be completed in a 12-month timeframe. A total of 36 credit hours are required, 30 of which are part of the MBA core curriculum. Students must then complete an additional six credit hours of accounting specific coursework that is intended to provide students with a more advanced understanding of this field. No additional elective credits are required outside of this predetermined curriculum.

Oklahoma Christian University

Another option is the online MBA program at Oklahoma Christian University which has an academic track in accounting. This Christian MBA program can be completed in 12 months. Students who are interested in attending some classes on campus can also enroll in the hybrid program that mixes online and on-campus courses. In terms of curriculum, students are required to complete nine core curriculum courses that cover topics in strategic management, economics, and marketing, among other issues. They then complete an additional three courses that are specific to the accounting track and cover advanced topics in this field.

Oklahoma State University

Oklahoma State University offers an online MBA program that is offered on a part-time basis. This program requires the completion of a total of 42 credit hours. Students are able to complete courses at their own pace, which allows them to maintain a job or keep up with various other obligations while still pursuing the degree. Students who are interested in accounting can pursue a concentration, however this would entail taking at least some courses on-campus, as this concentration is not offered online.

Admissions Standards

When applying to online MBA programs in Oklahoma, there are a number of steps students will need to take in order to be considered for admission. When submitting their application file, students will need to include past academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, a completed application form, a personal statement, and CV or resume.
